We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator for a direct hire opportunity. The Network Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our organization's network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Configure and manage network services such as DHCP, DNS, VPN, and VLANs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.
